Services Provided
  • An in-home assessment is initiated within 48 hours of referral.
  • Intensive services providing 3 to 12 hours of contact per week, per family
  • Ages 5-18
  • Services average 6 to 12 weeks of treatment; extension may be authorized up to 12 additional weeks(maximum 6 months total).

Active Treatment Focuses On:
  • Reducing psychiatric symptoms
  • Educational intervention aimed at understanding the course of psychiatric illness and prevention and management of the acute phases of the condition.
  • Identifying families' behavioral assets and strengths.
  • Providing family-centered services according to families' individualized needs:
    • Referrals are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
    • Family therapy
    • Individual therapy
    • Therapeutic Behavioral Services
    • Psychological assessments and evaluations
    • Medication management and psychiatric evaluations
    • Case Management
    • Licensed therapist works with family
    • 24 hour Emergency Response
    • Communication skills
    • Substance abuse counseling
    • Anger Management
    • Parenting education
    • Crisis Treatment
    • Life skills
    • Coordinate with other community based resources
    • Educational assessment and support
    • Home finance management
  • Appropriate clinical documentation in the care record:
    • Screening for child at risk for out-of-home placement
    • Maintain progress notes
    • Family assessments
    • Maintain individualized treatment plan
    • Discharge planning
  • Maintaining small caseloads (max 5 cases per counselor)
