Services Provided:
  • An assessment is initiated within 48 hours of referral.
  • Services providing 8 to 10 hours of contact per week, per individual.
  • Offered to older adolescents (at least 18 years of age) and adults (not older than 65 years of age).

Active Treatment Focuses On:
  • Reducing psychiatric symptoms
  • Educational intervention aimed at understanding the course of psychiatric illness and prevention and management of the acute phases of the condition.
  • Identifying individual's behavioral assets and strengths
  • Providing services according to individualized needs:
    • Referrals are accepted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
    • Family therapy
    • Individual therapy
    • Therapeutic Behavioral Services
    • Psychological assessments and evaluations
    • Medication management and psychiatric evaluations
    • Case Management
    • 24 hour Emergency Response
    • Communication skills
    • Substance abuse counseling
    • Anger Management
    • Parenting education
    • Crisis Treatment
    • Life skills
    • Coordinate with other community based resources
    • Educational assessment and support
    • Home finance management
  • Appropriate clinical documentation:
    • Maintain progress notes
    • Individual/Assessments
    • Maintain individualized treatment plan
    • Discharge planning
  • Maintaining small caseloads (max 5 cases per counselor)

New Pathways is esteemed to offer mental health support servies to older adolescents (at least 18 years of age) and adults (not older than 65 years of age) that suffer from serious mental illnesses and/or substance abuse. it is our mission to provide services that meet individuals' behavior, mental, and emotional need New Pathways will provide transitional support and stabilization services to clients returning to the community from a more restrictive environment. The goal of New Pathways is to provide the most stable, beneficial, and opportunity rich environment in which individuals can grow and develop into productive citizens in our society. Each client will learn skills for independent living, interpersonal relationships, use of community resources, money management/budgeting, accessing housing and benefits, and medication management. Clients will also learn to monitor their health, nutrition, and exercise. Our servies will provide each client with the ability to function successfully in the community and integrated environments. Services will be provided in the home and/or community, and veary based on the clients specific needs.
