Jaiona Owen

Jaiona Owen is a Qualified Mental Health Professional and QMHP Lead at New Pathways Adult and Youth Services. For the past year, she has worked as a Mental Health Skill Building and Intensive In-Home counselor. Jaiona is passionate about working with the community and providing adequate services to her clients to ensure they receive the most effective treatment. Jaiona was recognized in her field as Employee of the Month in October 2020. She currently lives in Richmond, Virginia and enjoys art work and exercising in her spare time.

Takoria White

Takoria White is a QMHP Counselor who works at New Pathways Youth Services. For the past several months, she has worked on teaching various psychoeducational interventions and therapeutic skills to adults and children according to their individual service plan. Takoria has been passionate about mental health since she was a young girl. She has always been fascinated with the study of psychology and helping others. Takoria has been recognized in her field for providing great service and support to the individuals and families she has worked with. Takoria graduated from Radford University with a BS in Psychology. In her spare time, Takoria enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones and completing DIY projects. She currently lives in Richmond, VA.

Rebecca Johnson

Rebecca Johnson is a Qualified Mental Health Professional who works at New Pathway Youth and Adult Services. She has been serving individuals in the community and providing Intensive In-home and Mental Health Skill Building care by assisting individuals with mental health supports and resources. Rebecca works with each individual one on one, and provides services and support in the home or in the community. She is passionate about helping children and families and uses encouraging and strengthening counseling strategies to bring forth individual wellness and to provide therapeutic coping skills. Rebecca is passionate about helping others because she has a helping spirit and considers herself to be relatable to others. Rebecca will be soon receiving a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys playing tennis, spending time with relatives and friends, and exploring new venues and sceneries. She resides in Central Virginia.

Janiqua Pearson

Janiqua Pearson is a QMHP who works at New Pathways Youth & Adult Services. For the past year, she has worked on providing Intensive In-Home services to improve family dynamics, individual behavior, and the regulation of her clients' emotions. Janiqua is passionate about the Human Services field because she enjoys helping others strive to be better. Janiqua has been recognized in her field for hard work and determination. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor's degree of science. In her spare time, Janiqua enjoys spending time with family and practicing self-care. She currently lives in Richmond, VA.
