Maurice MorganChief Executive OfficerMaurice E. Morgan, Jr is the founder and CEO of New Pathways Youth Services. Maurice has a Bachelors in Psychology from Bluefield College. Maurice has a story which motivated him to create New Pathways Youth and Adult Services to assist others that require additional support to improve their lives. Maurice's contribution to the community have been documented in newspapers like the Richmond Times Dispatch. Maurice enjoys creating music and assisting his clients with changing their lives.

Sheniqua JohnsonChief of OperationsSheniqua Johnson works with New Pathways Youth Services as Chief of Operations. Sheniqua graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her Bachelors in Social Work. Sheniqua graduated from Walden University with a Masters in Clinical Social Work. Sheniqua currently receives Clinical Supervision towards her LCSW. Sheniqua enjoys volunteering in the community, implementing programs like Women's Wednesday, and assisting her clients with making progress towards their goals.

Toni is currently working towards her Master's in Community Mental Health Counseling from Hampton University. She has extensive experience working with grade school children and adults. cherelle massenburgQMHPCherelle Massenburg is a Qualified Mental Health Professional here at New Pathways Youth and Adult Services. Cherelle graduated from the illustrious Hampton University with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology. Cherelle is on a pre-medical track and is currently attending Liberty University in pursuit of her Master's in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. She has a plethora of experience working in Victim Advocacy and Trauma. Passion is what serves as fuel for Cherelle's advocacy efforts and helps her through the process of assisting clients.

Laura WatsonQMHPLaura Watson is a Qualified Mental Health Professional at New Pathways Youth and Adult Services. Laura graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelor's of Art in Social Work in May of 2022, and received her Master's of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in August of 2023. During her undergraduate field placement, she worked in the field of early intervention working with children ages 0 to 3 with developmental delays and disabilities. Laura has enjoyed her past year of working and gaining experience in the field of mental health. She is passionate about advocating for those who may struggle to advocate or are unable to advocate for themselves. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books and writing.

Adriana JohnsonQMHPAdriana Johnson is a Qualified Mental Health Professional at New Pathways Youth and Adult Services. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor's Degree in exercise science and an associate in Human service. For the past year and a half, she enjoy working in the Mental Health field with intellectual disability and mental illness. Adriana plans to obtain her master’s in social work and become a certified substance abuse counselor.

Diara WatsonQMHPDiara Watson obtained her bachelor’s in psychology when graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021. She is currently in pursuit of her master's in clinical mental health counseling at Regent University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, sewing, and crocheting.

Nhien BachQMHPNhien Bach is a dedicated, Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) trainee with a deep passion for empowering individuals on their path to mental wellness.
She was a Vietnamese teacher and bible teacher assistant for the Church of Vietnamese Martyrs, where she helped to mentor kids by being an exemplary church member and guiding them through the turmoils of life. She also assisted the church with organizing programs, events, and activities to drive outreach initiatives. She's had experience as a small business owner supervising employees, providing staff with onsite training, and encouraging them to consistently meet performance targets. Her free spirit extends beyond the physical world. Therefore, she continuously seeks inner peace, self-awareness, and spiritual growth through meditation, yoga, and mindfulness. Nhien's mission is to help people overcome challenges and achieve a higher mental and emotional well-being. |
